This is an exciting opportunity to work within Michael J Dodden & Co Chartered Certified Accountants. We are an all-round accounting firm who deal with a range of clients from individuals, sole traders and limited companies regarding all different types of tax and accounting needs.
The Role
We are looking for an office administrator to join our team at our office on North Street, Bridgwater.
This would be a part time job with hours in the region of 20-25 hours per week. The required definite hours are Monday 9am – 5pm (1 hour lunch break) and Friday 9am until 2pm (No break). Other hours are able to be flexible due to other team members hours who you will be working alongside.
Your responsibilities would include the following:
- General receptionists’ duties including answering the phone and dealing with customers who visit our offices.
- Secretarial work including audio typist from dictaphone.
- Coventry Building Society Cashier (Training will be given by the Coventry at a different branch on an agreed date, normally a 4 day course)
- Data entry for internal reports and reconciliations
Essential Skills:
- Office experience (Previous banking experience would be preferred)
- Good IT skills, including experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Audio typist from dictaphone.
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels.
Package
- Part Time (20-25 hours)
- Holidays – standard 20 days plus bank holidays plus Tuesday after Easter Monday (Prorated for part time)
